Glacier collection was inspired by frozen landscapes - reflected in a limited set of natural colours and mimicking cracked ice.
These minimal and modern pieces are made from burnished porcelain decorated with glass. How it is made:
When the designs are finished I make the moulds and prepare the casting slip. This stage can take up to two weeks. Then the pieces are cast, cut and left to dry for a day. Once dry they are cleaned, polished and fired. I am using clear and coloured glass in the final firing to achieve the broken ice effect. The last stage of production is sanding and assembling (adding findings, chain or rings).
